10 Tips for a Killer Presentation
A great post in the Quick Sprout blog suggests 10 tips to give a killer presentation:
- Don’t abuse your visuals ***
- Look at the audience ***
- Show your personality ***
- Make them laugh
- Talk to your audience, not at them ***
- Be honest
- Don’t over prepare
- Show some movement
- Watch what you say
- Differentiate yourself ***
Two additional tips are given in the comments:
- Tell stories ***
- Record yourself
I find all of these useful and inspiring. Some of them (in orange) are particularly relevant to project presentations in the class, while a few others (with ***) are what I treasure the most as a teacher.
